  • By setting its aperture to f/5.6, we get the effect of a soft lens.
  • As we increase the aperture towards f/64, the effect disappears and our photos appear sharp from close up to far away.
  • At f/64, the lens in a cap transforms your DSLR into a pinhole camera pre-focused from 50 centimeters to infinity with a very large depth of field.
