Specifications
The MONTVAL® paper was designed by the painter Gaspard Maillol, nephew of the sculptor Aristide Maillol, and manufactured by CANSON®. Since then, the material has evolved significantly. It is ACID-FREE, has excellent longevity, and is specially treated against "mold" without chemical bleaching, making it one of the best quality materials for "Wet" techniques for students of "Fine Arts". It is very easy to use and correct, as it can be washed even with a wet brush.
MONTVAL® is available with:
- Medium texture (Cold Pressed)
- "Snowy" texture (snowy grain)
It is suitable for all "Wet" techniques such as Watercolors, Tempera, and Acrylics.
