I got it exclusively for Cosmote TV, and movies with the Nova player.
I also chose it because it has an ethernet port, so if it didn't work properly with wifi, I could connect it with a cable.
But, wifi connection, with the modem on the upper floor and only an extender downstairs. (Not the best internet). And it works flawlessly, no lag, perfect picture. It also received the Android 14 update. I believe it's even better than Cosmote's Skyworth. It's worth its money, absolutely satisfied.

YouTube and EON (nova), which my father-in-law is interested in, work perfectly. ERTFLIX works just fine too

One of the best android tv boxes, if it had a bit more ram it would be simply fantastic, superior to the xiaomi box. Plays everything: Cosmote tv, Netflix, prime, disney plus.

It is perfect in every respect, it has everything, I highly recommend it. The only thing that bothers me is that it doesn't upgrade to Android 12 while I see that the cycle has ended on other devices, I don't know why it doesn't.

I had a problem with connecting to Bluetooth, I googled it and the solution is when it shows you the Pair option, you first press the right button and then OK...This way it connected via Bluetooth

The best thing I've ever bought in a TV box. The resolution of my TV (15-year-old Sharp) improved a lot, as did its sound. It was installed easily and quickly. Definitely VFM!!!

Sometimes it freezes on Netflix. It doesn't exit and you have to unplug it and then it comes back. This happens about once a month. On the plus side, the remote works with BT and not with infrared. Also, it is fast and doesn't lag except for what happens only on Netflix. On the minus side, its price.

First day experience with the box excellent. Used for eon tv. Simple, user-friendly, fast. Connected via ethernet.

I've had it for a few days and so far, I have only good things to say. Fast and reliable, it does exactly what its description says. It is easy to use, upgraded my old TV, small and lightweight.

I will not refer to the positives since they have been mentioned many times already.
For the use I want it for, the biggest negative is that due to its Android TV operating system, it is not considered a portable device but a television. Therefore, you cannot download for offline viewing from platforms like Netflix, Prime Video, Cosmote TV, etc.

So far (one month of ownership) I am very satisfied. The operating system (Android TV - it's different from regular Android and not many boxes have it) runs smoothly, plays Cosmote, Netflix, etc. The remote control is good but I would prefer if it had the ability to function as a cursor (with hand movement, not arrows), maybe I'm asking for too much. Much better than paying for Google's stick which is much more expensive.

I have had it for 2.5 years now and I am absolutely satisfied. On 5/2/25 it also received Android TV 12. With the remote control, you can also control the TV via infrared (ON/OFF, voice, and device input). I have installed and the following apps work without problems: YouTube, EON TV, Netflix, Disney+, F1 TV, Stremio, Ant1+, Ertflix, Mullvad VPN, Nord VPN, Prime Video, Apple TV, VLC, Vodafone TV, 9Xtream, Avast SecureLine, Windscribe VPN, Proton VPN, etc. It has Google Play Store but you can't download everything, only what is compatible with Android TV, e.g. it doesn't have Google Chrome but it has another browser. In the microSD slot, I have inserted a 128GB card and with VLC you can play whatever you want, it also has 2 USB ports for better convenience.
Update: It also received Android 14, fortunately I am not facing any problems.

I use it for YouTube or Chromecast and it has never disappointed me, very fast without any lag with very good picture quality. The only negative is its price, which compared to other budget TV boxes on the market is almost twice as much.

Guys, it's perfect, a bit expensive, but it runs smoothly without lagging! I used to buy a small box for 40-50€, but the miser's money is spent by the spender!

I have had it for a few days and so far, I only have good things to say. Fast and reliable, it does what its description says. At first, it asked me to do a software update that took a little while and then everything was fine. Its settings are relatively easy. It is small and lightweight which makes it a convenient solution for the table.

A super fast box that doesn't drive you crazy with freezes during use. It also works perfectly with VPN without slowing down. Excellent.

I went to do the firmware update ota from the mecool site and now it keeps rebooting at the tv box logo. It seems to be lost. If anyone knows someone who can fix it, please help

After two months of having the snow, I got this. It seems to be much superior to the Xiaomi. It's worth investing a little more money. The two negatives I have encountered so far are that sometimes while all the other devices have internet, the MeCool needs to be unplugged and plugged back in to connect, then it connects normally to the internet (via WiFi). The second negative is that it is affected by all the remotes (like the TV remote), with the remote for the lights and the LED strip. So when I press a button, it does something... I also uploaded a photo of the remotes. It works with all of them but not correctly.

I couldn't install some applications that I had on my phone, otherwise quite good, I recommend it

I have had it for 2 months. I wanted a smart box with ethernet because before this I had a Xiaomi that only had wifi and wouldn't connect to anything. This particular one is excellent so far, it doesn't lag on apps like Netflix, Cosmote TV, Prime Video, Ant1Plus.. For something more demanding like Kodi, I don't know.. Its menu is easy to use. During the initial setup, it asks for the brand of the TV but it doesn't have F&U. I randomly put Futjitsu and didn't encounter any problems. I will return in due time for any issues that may arise.

I was recommended it as tested, So far it has handled everything, it doesn't get stuck and generally works seamlessly.

I also have the KM7 which has very few differences. Both have very nice picture quality and have never frozen. The 4 stars are for the annoying keyboard that doesn't work with a mouse. Other than that, both are excellent

This is the second one I am buying from Mecool.... I also have the first box from Xiaomi!

Its menu is so difficult that you don't enjoy using it.
It is full of irrelevant applications. It does not support Google Chrome.
And it does not resemble Android at all. For me, it is a failed purchase.

Excellent TV box, connects very easily, large storage space, nice menu, very good picture quality, small in size both the box and the remote, I highly recommend it.

After an initial cold start because it seemed DoA (it insisted that it had no internet connection to proceed with the initial updates despite being connected with both wifi and ethernet), it finally worked normally after 2 days. Since then, it has been functioning super well, problem-free for months, countless hours. Cosmote TV (that's why I got it), Netflix, Disney+, Youtube, Twitch, Prime all play from there, I have completely eliminated the apps on my TV.
