THE BEND is the first of a dozen new interconnected works that form the MYTH OF THE OSTEN GARDEN by LEMIRE and SORRENTINO! The myth of the Osten Garden is an ambitious expansion of the strong creative team and will encompass multiple books and various forms of storytelling. Each title will tell its own unique, standalone story, some as standalone hardcover graphic novels, some as mini-series comics, and some as larger format comic series, but all will unfold in the same world and contribute to the overall mythology of the Osten Garden.
The team plans to release at least two new titles every year for the coming years. In the summer of 2022, the horrors begin with a hardcover graphic novel titled, THE BEND, which follows a geologist sent to a remote lighthouse. In 2023, Lemire and Sorrentino will follow up with a collection of mini-series titled, Ten Thousand Black Feathers, and then another original hardcover graphic novel in 2023 titled, High Chimney.
