The base is slightly larger than I expected based on the photos. It is easily placed in the air vent and holds very well. It also has a plastic piece underneath that you can adjust for support, and the base stays completely still.
It also sticks out a bit more from the dashboard than I expected, but it's not really bothersome.
The base comes with a cable to connect it to a charger, but it doesn't come with a charger!
In terms of phone support, I don't have an Apple device, but I have a Galaxy S23 Ultra with a case that has a Mophie Magsafe ring.
Even though the phone is large and relatively heavy, the attachment to the base is flawless. The phone doesn't move at all. In fact, to remove the phone, I usually use both hands to pull the phone with one hand and push the base with the other.
I have also taken some trips on bad roads with potholes, etc., and everything is fine. I never worried that the phone might come off the base.
As for cooling, I can't give an opinion yet. I've had the base for a short time, and with the temperatures of this season, it's difficult to tell if the cooling system of the base is really effective or not. However, for now, the phone doesn't heat up on the base.
It will become evident in 1-2 months if it really makes a difference, so I will come back to it.
The only downside of the base is its price compared to the fact that it doesn't come with a charger in the package.
If it had a charger, then maybe I would find its price more reasonable. Now, I simply consider it overpriced.
But even if I had a second car, I would still choose the same base.
P.S.: If you buy the base, know that you will need a charger of at least 2A.
Η βάση είναι λίγο μεγαλύτερη απ' οτι περίμενα με βάση τις φωτογραφίες. Τοποθετείται πανεύκολα στον αεραγωγό και "μαγκώνει" / στηρίζεται πολύ καλά. Έχει και ένα πλαστικό από κάτω που το ρυθμίζεις για αντιστήριξη και πραγματικά η βάση μένει τελείως ακίνητη.
Επίσης βγαίνει λίγο πιο "έξω" από το ταμπλό σε σχέση με οτι περίμενα. Τίποτα το ενοχλητικό βεβαίως.
Η βάση έχει καλώδιο για να τη συνδέσεις σε φορτιστή, αλλά δεν έχει φορτιστή!
Από άποψη στήριξης του τηλεφώνου, δεν έχω συσκευή Apple αλλά έχω ένα Galaxy S23 Ultra με θήκη στην οποία έβαλα δαχτυλίδι Magsafe της Mophie.
Αν και το κινητό είναι μεγάλο και σχετικά βαρύ, το κούμπωμα του με την βάση είναι άψογο. Το κινητό δεν κουνιέται με τίποτα. Για την ακρίβεια για να βγάλω το κινητό συνήθως χρησιμοποιώ και τα δύο χέρια για να τραβάω το κινητό με το ένα και να σπρώχνω την βάση με το άλλο.
Έκανα και μερικά ταξίδια σε κακούς δρόμους με λακούβες κτλ και όλα καλά. Δεν ανησύχησα στιγμή οτι το κινητό μπορεί να φύγει από την βάση.
Στο θέμα ψύξης δεν μπορώ να εκφέρω άποψη ακόμα. Την βάση την έχω λίγο καιρό και με τις θερμοκρασίες αυτής της εποχής είναι δύσκολο να καταλάβω αν πράγματι το σύστημα ψύξης της βάσης κάνει κάποια σοβαρή δουλειά ή όχι. Πάντως για την ώρα το κινητό δεν ζεσταίνεται πάνω στην βάση.
Θα φανεί σε 1/2 μήνες αν πράγματι κάνει κάποια διαφορά, οπότε και θα επανέλθω.
Το μόνο κακό της βάσης είναι η τιμή της σε σχέση και με το γεγονός οτι δεν έχει φορτιστή μέσα στη συσκευασία.
Αν είχε ένα φορτιστή τότε ίσως να εύρισκα την τιμή της πιο λογική. Τώρα απλά την θεωρώ τσιμπημένη.
Αλλά αν είχα και δεύτερο αυτοκίνητο, πάλι την ίδια βάση θα έπερνα.
Υ.Γ.: Αν αγοράσετε τη βάση να ξέρετε οτι θα χρειαστείτε και φορτιστή τουλάχιστον 2Α.
