Description

Inspired artists, important politicians, and tourists from all over the world have come to Vienna and all need a hotel room. This is your chance to turn your small café into a world-famous hotel. Hire staff, fulfill your guests' wishes, and win the emperor's favor. Only then will your café become the Grand Austria Hotel.

The first player rolls the dice and then removes one to perform an action. With various actions, a player can get the necessary drinks and dishes, prepare the rooms, or hire staff. But no hotel can grow without guests. Choosing wisely which guests to attract and completing their orders can earn you some bonus actions.

The staff cards also have different advantages, but the game ends after seven rounds and no player has time to do everything they want. So, the player who makes the best decisions and finds the best way to earn bonus actions is the winner.

It involves managing a hotel and its restaurant and has a very clever dice management mechanic, as the dice essentially act as the pawns in this complex working placement game. It's not a game that you will frequently bring to the table due to its presentation, but you never regret playing it and it has the advantage of being relatively easy to set up. Because of its theme, it is enjoyable even for those who don't want to constantly battle monsters. It just takes a little time to learn the symbols on the cards, but like all games, it's a matter of getting used to it. It's worth its price and is a sure choice that you will come back to play, even when you add another 20 working placement games to your collection
