We have had this thermometer since 2017 when I had my first child. It broke this year, 9 years later and after countless measurements on 2 children and adults, during quarantines, covid and flu outbreaks, kindergartens, schools, with rough handling, falling on the floor a thousand times and so on... It never gave a wrong reading and I am particularly impressed that quite a few people are dissatisfied with its use. It needs to be placed in a specific spot and in a way that your pediatrician can show you so you can be sure you are doing it correctly. Ask for instructions. It is not possible for a child to have a 39-degree fever and the thermometer shows 36. It may be broken, need new batteries, or you might just be using it incorrectly, simply. One of the most honest and reliable.

The most useless thing I have ever bought in my life. Truly wasted money. It never showed the correct temperature. It's better to use it to measure room temperature.

There is a small deviation in the temperature but it's ok. On the negative side, I would mention the intense light it emits when you take the temperature, which results in disturbing the children! Other than that, it does its job!

I bought it for €40 from a local pharmacy for an infant with whom we have difficulty using a classic thermometer. I think it was made for pranks. It gives random numbers. I decided to use it just to roughly see if the child has a high fever so I can use a regular thermometer. Not even for that is it suitable. It showed 36.9 and the child was actually 38, resulting in me being reassured while the child had a fever and I should have acted. Useless!

A truly dangerous thermometer if you trust it!! I bought it on the recommendation of my pharmacist and from the very first use it constantly shows the wrong readings! My child had 38.8 and 39.5 and it kept showing 36.6 or 37.2. All the days my child was burning with fever, it showed around 36.6 no matter how I held it, at any angle or distance from the forehead. For me, it should be discontinued because it is unreliable. I really wasted my money

It does not give an accurate measurement but more of an order of magnitude. For this use, it is ok. To show a relatively correct temperature, everything must be ideal, that is, the child must be still, not have touched anything before, the mark must be exactly at the right spot on the forehead and from the correct distance, which is difficult as it takes quite a while to give a result. So, as a supplement to the regular thermometer, it is a good choice. But not as a main thermometer under any circumstances.

If the child has a fever, it shows it with one click in 5 seconds.
If you want accuracy, use the armpit one.
I believe it has about a 0.3-0.5 difference compared to the armpit one.

The definition of randomness in readings! It shows one thing on the forehead, another on the temple, another on the neck. I don't think you can trust it even for an indication of whether the child has a fever or not. Countless attempts at different distances, with the hair out of the way, etc. Bad purchase!

Before this, we had other forehead thermometers, not reliable at all! This one is perfect! Compared to the armpit for babies, it shows almost the same temperature with a deviation of 0.1 degrees. It is resistant to drops. You just need to learn how to use it (for example, don't measure a child sitting across from the fireplace or fully covered in blankets and expect it to show 36.6) and otherwise, it's perfect!

Quite accurate in its measurement compared to other thermometers I have tried. Definitely not of the same reliability as a mercury thermometer. But very good if you have a small child and want a quick and fairly reliable measurement.

Each measurement at the same point gave a different result with a significant deviation. It showed 37.5 on the forehead and 39.5 on the electronic armpit (checked). So, my personal opinion is that the product I have in my hands is not only inaccurate but also dangerous.
