Our pediatrician also uses it as a particularly reliable one, so I bought it. There is no faster and more user-friendly thermometer! It's the first time my little one begs me to measure his fever, while until now we were struggling to put a thermometer under his armpit! Now I saw some deviation from the conventional ones, but only a few tenths! I think if you carefully follow the instructions (read them carefully), it is a reliable thermometer that solves your hands and of course I would recommend it! I regret not buying it much earlier and struggling with my little one and myself!

We have had this thermometer since 2017 when I had my first child. It broke this year, 9 years later and after countless measurements on 2 children and adults, during quarantines, covid and flu outbreaks, kindergartens, schools, with rough handling, falling on the floor a thousand times and so on... It never gave a wrong reading and I am particularly impressed that quite a few people are dissatisfied with its use. It needs to be placed in a specific spot and in a way that your pediatrician can show you so you can be sure you are doing it correctly. Ask for instructions. It is not possible for a child to have a 39-degree fever and the thermometer shows 36. It may be broken, need new batteries, or you might just be using it incorrectly, simply. One of the most honest and reliable.

The most useless thing I have ever bought in my life. Truly wasted money. It never showed the correct temperature. It's better to use it to measure room temperature.

  • There is a small deviation in the temperature but it's ok. On the negative side, I would mention the intense light it emits when you take the temperature, which results in disturbing the children! Other than that, it does its job!

I bought it for €40 from a local pharmacy for an infant with whom we have difficulty using a classic thermometer. I think it was made for pranks. It gives random numbers. I decided to use it just to roughly see if the child has a high fever so I can use a regular thermometer. Not even for that is it suitable. It showed 36.9 and the child was actually 38, resulting in me being reassured while the child had a fever and I should have acted. Useless!

The thermometer is easy to use and simple in its operation, but its measurements are not reliable. Although it is used exactly as the instructions state, the readings differ quite a bit from those of a mercury thermometer or a digital armpit thermometer, with deviations reaching up to 1°C. Also, the deviation is NOT consistent, which makes it difficult to trust the result. I have no opinion yet on the battery life as I have only been using it for a few days.

A truly dangerous thermometer if you trust it!! I bought it on the recommendation of my pharmacist and from the very first use it constantly shows the wrong readings! My child had 38.8 and 39.5 and it kept showing 36.6 or 37.2. All the days my child was burning with fever, it showed around 36.6 no matter how I held it, at any angle or distance from the forehead. For me, it should be discontinued because it is unreliable. I really wasted my money

Very good. I didn't expect it. In seconds you know if the kids have a fever or not. I have compared it with gallium thermometers and the difference is no more than 0.1 degrees. It is so easy to use that, even if it is off by 0.2, it is still perfectly fine. The important thing is that in successive measurements on the same person, maintaining the same distance, angle, etc., the readings are identical. I have experienced with other similar devices that one measurement can differ from another by half a degree, maybe even more. The application is ok, but unless you have a case where someone needs systematic monitoring and it needs to be combined with other measurements (e.g. blood pressure), I don't see much use for it. If you want, you can also have a gallium thermometer for some extreme case where you need great accuracy. The classic electronic ones you find at pharmacies, well, I won't even discuss them. They're all useless.

It does not give an accurate measurement but more of an order of magnitude. For this use, it is ok. To show a relatively correct temperature, everything must be ideal, that is, the child must be still, not have touched anything before, the mark must be exactly at the right spot on the forehead and from the correct distance, which is difficult as it takes quite a while to give a result. So, as a supplement to the regular thermometer, it is a good choice. But not as a main thermometer under any circumstances.

If the child has a fever, it shows it with one click in 5 seconds.
If you want accuracy, use the armpit one.
I believe it has about a 0.3-0.5 difference compared to the armpit one.

The definition of randomness in readings! It shows one thing on the forehead, another on the temple, another on the neck. I don't think you can trust it even for an indication of whether the child has a fever or not. Countless attempts at different distances, with the hair out of the way, etc. Bad purchase!

It is not reliable. Half an hour in the area before the measurement to get the temperature, parallel placement with the forehead, at a distance of millimeters and still discrepancies between the measurements.

37.7 the digital, 36.9 the armpit. In a 1-month-old baby.
It cost us an overnight stay in a private hospital - with the doctor's agreement - for monitoring just in case.
    Stay away...

Before this, we had other forehead thermometers, not reliable at all! This one is perfect! Compared to the armpit for babies, it shows almost the same temperature with a deviation of 0.1 degrees. It is resistant to drops. You just need to learn how to use it (for example, don't measure a child sitting across from the fireplace or fully covered in blankets and expect it to show 36.6) and otherwise, it's perfect!

Tragic... it shows 39 while the mercury one shows 37.
I bought it for my baby and it has confused and stressed us infinitely.
Also, it does not have consistency on its own. One moment it shows 37, the next 38 with a one-minute difference.
It is not worth the money at all.

I have had it for 5 years and I am very satisfied! It is very close to the indications and the correct temperature because there are many deviations with other thermometers of the same type. This one is very good!

  • I've had it for 7 years. It worked perfectly.
In the last month, it seems to be acting up. It paid for itself. Now I logged in to order a new one

The temperature it displays is not accurate, usually 3-4 degrees lower than the actual temperature. Also, it takes a long time to show the result. I would not recommend it as a product

Not at all reliable. It shows very inaccurate temperatures. I returned to using an axillary thermometer for measuring my children's temperature.

It is not reliable. Half an hour in the area before the measurement to get the temperature, parallel placement with the forehead, at a distance of millimeters and still discrepancies between the measurements.

  • So far, any use I have made shows that it is generally okay. For its price, I consider it to be a very good choice, definitely value for money.

37.7 the digital, 36.9 the armpit. In a 1-month-old baby.
It cost us an overnight stay in a private hospital - with the doctor's agreement - for monitoring just in case.
    Stay away...

Different temperature each time, large deviation from the classic mercury. For the kids to play, it might be good up to that point

  • Quite accurate in its measurement compared to other thermometers I have tried. Definitely not of the same reliability as a mercury thermometer. But very good if you have a small child and want a quick and fairly reliable measurement.

When you want it for babies, it's better not to have sound when measuring, e.g., vibration that it has measured or a light indicator. I measure them when they are sleeping, and with the beep it makes, they wake up...

Mediocre, we only use it as a quick solution if the child has a fever. I think that classic thermometers are more reliable.

Tragic... it shows 39 while the mercury one shows 37.
I bought it for my baby and it has confused and stressed us infinitely.
Also, it does not have consistency on its own. One moment it shows 37, the next 38 with a one-minute difference.
It is not worth the money at all.

Good accuracy and speed in measurements.
For maximum accuracy when needed (rarely), the classic method is irreplaceable.

  • The worst ever!!! I had 38.5 and it showed me 37!!!!!! Tragic! Waste of money, believe me!!! Fortunately, I had a mercury thermometer and saw the real temperature

  • We have had this thermometer since 2017 when I had my first child.

  • The most useless thing I have ever bought in my life. Truly wasted money. It never showed the correct temperature. It's better to use it to measure room temperature.

  • There is a small deviation in the temperature but it's ok. On the negative side, I would mention the intense light it emits when you take the temperature, which results in disturbing the children! Other than that, it does its job!
