I wear size 45.5-46.5 depending on the shoe. I bought and received this particular one in size 46 2/3. My feet barely fit with thin socks (it was practically impossible to walk in them, let alone with thick hiking socks). I returned them and got size 47 1/3, which had minimal to nonexistent difference from the first pair. I requested a refund this time. The sizes in this company's specific model are obviously wrong and do not correspond to reality, and their fit is unacceptably narrow. The overall quality of construction is disappointing and cheap for the brand's reputation and their price. I have bought much better similar shoes from a well-known sports store chain for almost one-third of the price.

Owner of the x-reveal 1, after 2 years of daily use, I upgraded to the new x-reveal 2. More or less the same shoe with small upgrades like the sole support that used to wear out from use, the weight, and the front cushion that makes it visually resemble a work shoe. Different quality of materials, for example, more plastic laces. I don't know if they are better or worse. If they last 2 years like the first ones, it will be a very good deal for GTX shoes at this price.

I use it for mountain running....quite lightweight and with very good grip on the ground, especially on rough trails with rocks, etc...Very good price as well, I highly recommend it

I got it for everyday city use, so far it has a very good feel and fit, classic Salomon. It is lightweight, with moderate hardness both on the sole and in the rest of the foot "binding", it has good grip on the sidewalks and streets of Athens.
