The clasp holds well and the QR tag works very well, but if you happen to have a cat that keeps scratching its neck, it will turn into an Edwardian collar (all ribbons / visually a bit frayed and feathered) within a few days/weeks, and it will need constant "trimming" to look like a cat collar again. But it still holds, and my other cat, which doesn’t do the same nonsense, has had his for almost two years and it still looks like new
