Probiovit is a unique probiotic formula for the gastrointestinal health of infants, children, and adults. It contains the probiotics Lactobacillus Rhamnosus and Lactobacillus reuteri, known for their beneficial effects.

Lactobacillus reuteri: Proven safe for infants, young children, and adults. It shows resistance to digestive substances and reaches the intestine, where it acts positively. Its intake during pregnancy is associated with a reduction in infant colic.

Lactobacillus rhamnosus: Clinically proven to relieve cramps and reduce crying time in newborns, providing protection against harmful microbes.

    We give it preventively to our 7-month-old child, as he started solid foods (with baby-led weaning) a month ago, for help with digestion and bowel movements. It seems to work (marginally) better than prodilac. It contains the same and more probiotic strains (e.g. from BioGaia). I will update with new information.
