I bought it to use the PS4-PS5 controller wirelessly. For the money it costs, it's pretty good. It loses connection occasionally and doesn't reach far enough, I would say, but it's fine for a controller on a PC being close to the screen, there's no issue. Also, very easy installation.

Not being able to find the latest Asus USB-BT500 with Bluetooth 5.0 available immediately, I ended up reluctantly due to time pressure with the USB-BT400 with Bluetooth 4.0.
In Windows 10, it played perfectly without any intervention from me since the drivers were already in the operating system's database.
As a transceiver, it has a pretty good signal, specifically with a pair of Sennheiser HD 250BT headphones, it can play flawlessly at a distance of about 12m in direct contact (without any obstacles between them), while with obstacles, it plays comfortably without any lag in 2 adjacent rooms with 2 walls intervening between the Asus transmitter and the Sennheiser wireless headphones.
For the money it asks for, it is a very good value for money product.

I bought this specific adapter for use with my Sony WH-1000XM3 headphones on Linux and I am completely satisfied. Before this, I tried other solutions but had issues with intermittent disconnections, all of which have now been completely eliminated. The range is also quite good as long as there are no metallic objects in between. For this reason, I used a USB extension cable to bring the adapter under my desk and everything works perfectly.

It works fine on Windows XP x64 with the installation of drivers and bt manager from the CD. In Windows 10, it is automatically detected and does not require the use of the CD. Now, regarding its capabilities, it can connect wirelessly to keyboards, mice, gamepads, and headphones, as well as send files at a speed of approximately 3mbit (384kByte). The range is at least about 5 meters with obstacles, according to my own mobile device.

Well, reading the reviews for this particular product, I bought it. Unfortunately, its range is ridiculous. We're talking about a maximum of 2 meters... and that's only when my hand is not in the way...
I tried it on Windows 10 and Ubuntu. I downloaded the latest drivers and gave it enough time to install correctly. I searched extensively to see what could be wrong and found some unrelated articles that suggested using HP drivers for BT400 as a better alternative to the official ones...
Maybe it's my copy and I was unlucky, maybe ASUS changed the build quality...
Either way, the connection is lost when I sit comfortably in my chair from a standing position. If I put my hand in front of the BT, then the connection is completely lost. I put the BT in a front USB port. If I put it in a rear position, it can't even find the headset.
As for the headset, I've been using it for a year on my mobile and laptop without a single disconnection... So it definitely isn't the headset's fault

Watermelon is rubbish.. As the old ones used to say.. I have tested it on both of my PCs with two different Bluetooth devices and its maximum range seems to not exceed 5 meters. Even if you are close, there are cases where it shows interruptions. Waste of money. I had an old one and I thought of getting a new one in case I had a better connection, but it seems like I made a mistake.. Look for one with an antenna instead.

I have been using it for a while now to connect my JBL Tune 500BT headphones to a desktop computer with Windows 7. It has a pretty long range and the sound is transmitted flawlessly without interference or interruptions, with perfect bass. Just insert the CD with the Drivers into the optical media device, open the folder and go to the CD, then open the folder that says WIN7 and download the program located there. Once prompted, plug in the adapter and when it finishes, restart your computer. Then remove the CD and click on the Bluetooth icon in the taskbar, click on add device, once you find it, click next and that's it! Well done to Asus, great job with the adapter!

It does what it says. I gave it 3 stars because it didn't work as well with my Plantronics headset, while it was perfect with LG.

I bought it to connect an Xbox One controller to a computer. If there is any obstacle in front of the PC, the signal is lost. I was not satisfied. It would be better to get the genuine one from Microsoft.

I use it on Mac and it works perfectly without any setup. I have tested it with peripherals as well as Bluetooth headphones and overall the result was quite good. Maybe the range is a bit small.

I use it to connect my VR headset controllers and I have never had any problems. It is reliable and does not require any installation as Windows 10 recognizes it on its own. In my opinion, it is a very good choice

It works fine, sometimes it may lose signal but it connects relatively quickly. However, if you want more reliability, I would say go for something more expensive.

This specific Bluetooth was purchased for connecting a DS4 to a PC...
To install it correctly, you will need to download the drivers from the Asus website, install them, and then plug the Bluetooth into the USB port.

Tested on Windows 10 Pro x64

For Windows 10, you simply install it and it works. Do not download drivers from ASUS because it will stop working.
