The Casstrom No.3 Dangler XL adapter by Casstrom features an exceptionally wide belt loop (6.3 cm) that allows the knife to hang freely below the waist, facilitating movement and handling of the knife.

The extended belt loop makes it easy to access the knife, even with a backpack or large bag on the back. Additionally, it allows for a comfortable sitting position without obstructions. When the sheath hangs on a Dangler, it can bend at the hip joint, easing movement during running or climbing. You can easily remove the knife without having to open the belt.

The D-ring is made from durable aluminum with a thickness of 8 mm, with a breaking strength exceeding 400 kg, ideal for multiple uses like hanging equipment, carrying animals, or fastening a dog leash. It is also used for securing a tarp or hammock.

The belt loop is made from sturdy 3-mm thick vegetable-tanned cow leather, suitable for belts up to 6 cm wide. The D-ring of the Dangler accommodates knife sheaths with belt loops up to 34 mm wide.
