The Bose ControlSpace ESP-880A digital processor operates as an open-architecture matrix router with DSP. It features 8 analog Mic/Line inputs and 8 analog outputs, as well as a Bose AmpLink connection via RJ-45 (CAT5) for sending up to 8 audio channels to compatible Bose amplifiers.
The RJ-45 port enables configuration and control from a computer using the ControlSpace® Designer application. It supports control via RS-232, AMX and Crestron systems, as well as connection of compatible external controllers through its 5-channel GPIO and 3-pin Euroblock ports. DSP functions include automatic microphone mixing, graphic and parametric equalizers, Bose loudspeaker libraries, signal generators, routers, mixers, AGC, duckers, gates, compressors, source selectors and delays.
