    The powder was used with the aim of ant nests. It worked as a repellent and not as an insecticide. I poured it over the ant nests and indeed they disappeared....from that specific spot. They opened a nest further down and changed route, avoiding the powder. It may work on another species of ants. I bought other kinds of powders as well. In general, they don't work. What really worked was an insecticide that dissolves in water and is sprayed in the area.
