The Penguin Readers is a series of English language learning books for students who are learning English as a foreign language. With carefully tailored text, new illustrations, and language learning exercises, the printed edition also includes instructions for accessing online support material. The eight levels of Penguin Readers follow the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The exercises at the end of each reader help students practice grammar, vocabulary, and essential exam skills. "Sense and Sensibility," which belongs to level 5, is B1 in the CEFR framework.
