I bought a new washing machine and I cut off the factory plug and connected it with an APC surge protector.
I have been using this combination since I bought the washing machine two months ago.
Since then, we have had at least 5 power outages and many power surges and dips in my area.
I am sure that these two combinations have saved or at least extended the lifespan of the device.
The key to new devices is the circuit board, and it is good to be able to easily isolate it when you don't need it.
Αγορασα καινουριο πλυντήριο και εκοψα το εργοστασιακό φις και συνδεσα αυτο μαζι με μια πριζα ασφάλειάς της APC.
Αυτον τον συνδιασμο τον εχω κανει απο την αρχη που πηρα το πλυντήριο εδω και δυο μηνες.
Απο τοτε είχαμε τουλάχιστον 5 διακοπες ρεύματος και πολλές βυθίσεις και υπερτάσεις ρεύματος στην περιοχη μου.
Αυτοι οι δυο συνδιασμοι ειμαι βεβαιος οτιε έσωσαν η τουλάχιστον επιμήκυναν την διαρκεια ζωη της συσκευης.
Το παν στις καινούριες συσκευές ειναι η πλακετα, οταν δεν την χρειάζεσθε καλο ειναι να μπορεις ευκολα να την απομονώνεις.
