ROMED sterile single-use IV device with air vent needle and Y injection site. It features a sharp perforation tip, rotary cylindrical clamp, and flexible tube.

Instructions for using the IV device

• Disinfect the surface of the bottle cap.
• Remove the protective cap of the bottle, pierce and push the spike into the cap along its entire length while rotating.
• Firmly close the clamp, invert the bottle, and hang it at the desired height.
• Allow air to enter the device by removing the protective cap of the needle and piercing. Slightly release the clamp to allow fluid to move.
• Insert the needle into the vein and adjust the flow by moving the clamp in a controlled manner, so that the infusion rate complies with medical instructions.

• The device must be checked for integrity before use.
• The device is unsuitable for blood or blood product transfusions.
• After use, the device must be destroyed.
• Do not re-sterilize.
