The Salifert Profi Test NO² Nitrite is for the accurate control and determination of the nitrite content in fresh water, sea water, osmosis water, or water from an external pond. Nitrites are a substance that is very toxic to fish and invertebrates.

The usage instructions are as follows:

• Add 1 ml of water using the syringe to the test vial.
• Add 1 scoop of NO2 powder to it. Gently shake the contents of the test tube for 20 seconds.
• Place the open test vial over the color chart on a white part of the chart and compare the colors viewed from above.

The Salifert Nitrite Profi test suffices for 60 tests in fresh or sea water.
