The ECM-B10 features built-in digital signal processing for internal conversion of analog data to digital. Processing using Sony's proprietary algorithms ensures high-precision directionality, while the choice between three recording modes covers various audio needs.

Choice between three directional settings

The advanced digital signal processing technology offers three different recording modes in a versatile microphone. Use the control switch on the back panel of the microphone to choose between supercardioid, unidirectional, and omnidirectional modes depending on the recording needs.

Small size for easier transport

With a length of just 79.3 mm, the microphone is easily portable and follows you wherever you shoot. The front part of the unit does not obstruct photo capture, even when using a wide-angle lens, and it attaches easily in various configurations in combination with vertical mounts and grips.

Dust and moisture resistance

Suitable for outdoor shooting and in all weather conditions, the ECM-B10 is designed to be dust and moisture resistant. Thanks to the absence of connecting cables when used with a compatible camera, the camera's plug protection covers remain closed for further protection from the elements.

Battery-free operation

Thanks to the direct power supply to the microphone unit through the camera's multi-connection socket, you can shoot for as long as you want without worrying about the microphone's battery running out.
