Description & Specifications

The Savotta FDF single foam camping mat combines a closed-cell foam pad with a fabric cover that functions as an individual sheet. The lightweight, waterproof cover adds insulation and protects the mat from punctures, tears and abrasion. The cover’s side flaps extend 25 cm on each side, creating a clean surface 100 cm wide.

The rubberized underside is non-slip and helps keep the mat or sleeping bag in place. Two integrated elastic straps with loops keep the mat rolled up during transport and storage. The model was developed for the Finnish Defence Forces in the 1980s.
