Mild and effective! I started using it during the second half of my cycle when I had hormonal acne issues. My skin was becoming irritated like an allergic reaction, sensitive, with many small pimples. Within 2-3 days of use, my skin calmed down, the pimples reduced in size, and the redness disappeared.
It is a transparent gel that spreads easily. I would prefer it to be more fluid or in a pump packaging, but that's not a deal-breaker. Essentially, I use it as a serum - it is not a moisturizing gel (it's a mistake that they have included it with face creams). Because it contains acids, it should only be used at night, and in the morning, sunscreen is necessary.
It sticks a little during application but dries quickly, and I apply a thin layer of Cicaplast balm or another rich moisturizer on top. Initially, it caused some pilling under the cream until I found the trick - when I apply it with rubbing motions instead of patting, I don't see any pilling. It is half/a third of the price of the Effaclar serum and comes in a larger quantity, and it's very important that, unlike Effaclar, it is fragrance-free, which can irritate acne-prone skin that is already in an alarmed state!
It has fantastic ingredients: BHA (salicylic acid), AHA (glycolic acid & lactic acid), niacinamide that soothes and fights acne, phytosphingosine that is antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory, and ceramides that hydrate and maintain skin balance.
I highly recommend it without hesitation!
Ήπιο και αποτελεσματικό! Άρχισα να το χρησιμοποιώ το δεύτερο μισό του κύκλου έχοντας πρόβλημα ορμονικής ακμής. Το δέρμα μου γίνεται αγριεμένο σαν από αλλεργική αντίδραση, υπερευαίσθητο, με πολλά μικρά σπυράκια. Μέσα σε 2-3 μέρες χρήσης το δέρμα ηρέμησε, τα σπυράκια μίκρυναν, και οι κοκκινίλες έφυγαν.
Είναι διάφανο gel που απλώνεται εύκολα. Θα προτιμούσα να είναι πιο ρευστό ή σε συσκευασία pump αλλά δεν θα κολλήσουμε εκεί. Ουσιαστικά το χρησιμοποιώ σαν serum - δεν είναι ενυδατικό gel (κακώς το έχουν βάλει μαζί με τις κρέμες προσώπου). Επειδή έχει οξέα θέλει χρήση μόνο το βράδυ, και το πρωί θέλει αντηλιακή.
Στην εφαρμογή κολλάει λίγο αλλά στεγνώνει εύκολα, και από πάνω βάζω μια λεπτή στρώση Cicaplast baume ή κάποια άλλη πλούσια ενυδατική. Στην αρχή έκανε λίγο pilling κάτω από την κρέμα μέχρι να βρω το κόλπο - όταν το εφαρμόζω με κινήσεις rubbing αντί για patting τότε δε βλέπω pilling. Είναι μισό/ένα τρίτο της τιμής του Effaclar serum και μεγαλύτερη ποσότητα, και πολύ σημαντικό ότι σε αντίθεση με το Effaclar δεν έχει άρωμα, που μπορεί να ερεθίσει επιδερμίδες με ακμή που είναι ήδη σε κατάσταση συναγερμού!
Έχει φανταστικά συστατικά: BHA (salicylic acid), AHA (glycolic acid & lactic acid), niacinamide που καταπραΰνει και καταπολεμά την ακμή, και phytosphingosine που είναι αντιμικροβιακή και αντιφλεγμονώδης, και ceramides που ενυδατώνουν και κρατούν την επιδερμίδα σε ισορροπία.
Το προτείνω ανεπιφύλακτα!
