The brush-applied Alchimica Hyperdesmo Aqua polyurethane waterproofing membrane forms an elastic, hydrophobic coating on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Its water-based, aliphatic formulation is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, harsh weather conditions and ponding water. It also helps reduce surface temperatures and improve a building’s energy efficiency.
Apply in two or more coats using a brush, roller or sprayer. It dries quickly and is suitable for waterproofing, coating and protecting rooftops, roof tiles, metal roofs, concrete, wooden surfaces, polyurethane foam, plasterboard, cement board, fiber cement sheets and bitumen membranes. The surface must be cleaned and loose material, dust, plant growth, salts and oils removed. Sanding may be necessary to smooth out any irregularities.
