The VideoMic is a high-quality Shotgun microphone for on-camera use.     I was expecting a much better build quality from Røde. The plastic doesn't seem good to me, the 9V battery cover doesn't fit easily on my piece, and the cable is fixed on the microphone. As for the sound, I can't speak yet, I want to do some comparative tests and I will come back.
