The Behringer Cat is an analog synthesizer with two VCOs and four waveforms that can be combined: sawtooth, triangle, pulse-width modulated and square sub-octave. Duophonic/Paraphonic mode allows independent control of the two attenuators, while the low-pass filter features peak/resonance and self-oscillation.
The analog signal path is based on VCO, VCF and VCA circuits, with an analog LFO offering sine and square waveforms, two analog envelope generators and a white noise generator. It features an audio input for processing external sources, external control inputs and outputs, and a USB/MIDI connection with MIDI channel and voice priority selection. The unit can be installed in a standard Eurorack case, while the 16-voice Poly Chain feature lets you combine multiple synthesizers for up to 16 voices.
