The cap is plastic, but it doesn't matter because it doesn't come into contact with the lamp. With cold light LED, it illuminates the ceiling beautifully and doesn't need extra lighting.

    This is the 4th floor lamp I have tried, unfortunately, this one is made with a plastic "lampshade" that reduces the diffusion of light compared to the glass ones they have. It is made of a lightweight thin tube, the switch is high up so it cannot be operated from below, for example, if it is on a table, but you can reach it if you are sitting on a chair and stretch your arm. The base is relatively good, but of course, with other lamps that have a thicker tube and a larger base, it does not have the same stability. It also comes with instructions, although assembly is very easy. Use LED bulbs with cool white 6500K, simple screw-in bulbs. It can handle up to 100W, but the light turns yellow and is not suitable for extended use, it becomes tiring.
