Well, first of all, let me say that I am a regular user of "Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander". A devoted user. And I bought it because I thought it was its successor, which it ultimately isn't.
So, let's compare the scent of this one with the classic Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander that comes in the bottle with the square base.
Functionally, this container has a different type of sprayer. They have improved the function and it gives me the impression that it creates a larger cloud but with greater speed. Maybe it's just the different geometry of the container that prompts you to press the button differently.
Intensity now, it has a similar but typical intensity, meaning you will feel the scent when you apply it, and after three minutes, you will only notice it if you encounter a gentle cool breeze against your face.
In terms of scent palette, there is a mixed message here. While the classic Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander has clear notes, here there is no clear message. It tries to play. If I had to describe it in colors, then the classic one moves in the brown palette with central notes of burgundy and yellow. And in the end, green appears. Like a strict but at the same time playful combination. With a full body and citrus notes.
The current one starts with a brown palette that goes towards light green and light yellow. It's like it's targeting playful teenagers who want to go out for a walk in nature. It's a good combination but maybe too fresh for my taste. I would say sage plays a significant role in the game.
Overall, it is an excellent scent, but it is by no means the successor of the classic Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander. I hope they don't consider discontinuing it because it would be a big mistake.
It doesn't get 5 out of 5 because it's called Mountain pepper! They should have named it differently to avoid confusion!
Λοιπόν, κατ'αρχάς να πω πως είμαι συστηματικός χρήστης του "Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander". Φανατικός χρήστης. Και το αγόρασα διότι νόμισα πως είναι ο διάδοχός του, που τελικά δεν είναι.
Το άρωμα οπότε αυτό θα το συγκρίνω με το κλασσικό Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander που είναι στο μπουκάλι με την τετράγωνη βάση.
Λειτουργικά, το δοχείο αυτό έχει άλλου τύπου ψεκαστήρα. Έχουν βελτιώσει την λειτουργία και μου δίνει την εντύπωση πως δημιουργεί μεγαλύτερο νέφος αλλά με μεγαλύτερη ταχύτητα. Ίσως να φταίει απλώς η διαφορετική γεωμετρία του δοχείου και να σε παροτρύνει να πατάς διαφορετικάτο κουμπί.
Ένταση τώρα, έχει αλλά τυπική, δηλαδή θα αισθανθείς το άρωμα την στιγμή που θα το βάλεις, και μετά το τρίλεπτο θα το καταλάβεις μόνο εάν συναντήσεις κάποιο απαλό δροσερό αεράκι κόντρα προς το πρόσωπό σου.
Στην παλέτα αρώματος τώρα, εκεί επικρατεί ένα συγκεκυχεμένο μήνυμα. Ενώ το κλασσικό Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander έχει ξεκάθαρες νότες, εδώ δεν υπάρχει σαφές μήνυμα. Προσπαθεί να παίξει. Εάν θα έπρεπε να το διατυπώσω χρωματικά, τότε το κλασσικό κινείται στην καφέ παλέτα με κεντρικές νότες βυσσινί και κίτρινου. Και στο τέλος εμφανίζεται το πράσινο. Σαν αυστηρός συνδυασμός αλλά ταυτόχρονα διαλλακτικός. Με γεμάτο σώμα και νότες αψάδας.
Το τωρινό ξεκινάει με καφέ παλέτα η οποία πηγαίνει προς το απαλό πράσινο και το απαλό κίτρινο. Σαν να απευθύνεται σε παιχνιδιάρηδες εφήβους που θέλουν να βγούνε βόλτα στην φύση. Είναι καλός συνδυασμός αλλά ίσως υπερβολικά φρέσκος για τα δικά μου γούστα. Θα έλεγα πως παίζει αρκετή μπάλα στο παιχνίδι το φασκόμηλο.
Συνολικά είναι ένα εξαιρετικό άρωμα, αλλά σε καμμιά περίπτωση δεν είναι ο διάδοχος του κλασσικού Mountain Pepper, Bergamot & Coriander. Ελπίζω να μη σκέφτονται να το αποσύρουν διότι θα ήταν μέγα λάθος.
Δεν παίρνει 5 στα 5 διότι λέγεται Mountain pepper! Ας το ονόμαζαν αλλιώς για να μην υπάρχει σύγχυση!
