I have another Protrek bought 22 years ago. After 12 years, I went to Casio to change the strap, and I also asked them to change the battery even though it wasn't necessary, and they also did waterproofing. It worked with that battery for another 10 years.

After 22 years, I decided to get something new and chose this one. I hope this one is as durable as the previous one, which I sometimes used in not-so-good conditions (e.g., on a window with frost outside to charge it). I am particularly interested in its durability, especially regarding the battery, like the previous one.

For now, it's the second day and I like it!

Excellent watch like most Casio models. It is very durable, with accurate measurements. For room temperature, you need to take it off your wrist for half an hour. The compass is accurate after calibration. The barometric calculation is very precise. The alarms sound clear and have a nice tone. It withstands tough outdoor use and is objectively beautiful

I hadn't worn a watch for over 20 years! I decided to get one from Casio, but not from the G-Shock series, rather from the Pro Trek. Basically, I didn't think much about it, relying on the company's history. I saw it, liked it, and bought it. It's very easy to use. All the functions are as described for people who want more than just to tell the time. It's worth it. All its functions are tested and can be adjusted for accuracy if needed. I think that even though it seems expensive for a watch, it is worth the money given the company's history
