The Digitus DS-55507 HDMI KVM IP extender set transmits video and audio over distances of up to 150 m via Cat5e, Cat 6, Cat 6A, Cat 7 or Cat 8 network cable in a point-to-point connection. Over an IP connection, transmission can cover unlimited distances using existing network infrastructure or network switches. The KVM function lets you control the computer using a keyboard and mouse, and infrared transmission is also supported.

The set includes a transmitter and a receiver, both with metal housings and ESD protection. The transmitter connects to the signal source via HDMI and USB-B and features an RJ45 output, an infrared output and a DC 5 V / 1 A power input. The receiver features an HDMI output, an RJ45 input, two USB-A inputs for a keyboard and mouse, an infrared input and a DC 12 V / 1 A power input.
