Very good heat dissipation for the WD SN580 2TB I installed. The speeds achieved by the REALTEK chipset are close to the max for the Mac Mini M4 (9.8 Gbps read and write). Overall, absolutely no issues and I highly recommend it! General note: For use in external enclosures, and especially for high-speed NVME, keep in mind to choose drives with low power consumption and high energy efficiency...

Its construction is entirely metallic with an O-Ring for protection against moisture, dust, and it is waterproof IP68 if it falls into the water.
Inside the box, there is a small Allen wrench needed to unscrew the screws to open the case and a small USB C to USB C cable.
The case accepts M.2 2242/2260/2280 Key A and B drives. That is, both NVMe and SATA, such as the Samsung 990 PRO M.2 NVMe PCIE 4.0 and the Western Digital Blue SA510 SSD. On top of the case, there is a thermal pad to transfer heat from the drive to the case.
The best part is that to secure the drive, it does not have the classic screw but a clip that makes installation easy, easier than dying.
