The Razer Ornata V3 X is quite a budget keyboard for gaming, budget always speaking for a big brand.

It is very quiet and comfortable to use thanks to its low profile and comes with a detachable wrist rest.
It has a strong feeling of being cheap but at the same time sturdy.
Its keys can be programmed through Synapse, and they are membrane.

I am a big fan of the Razer Ornata, less so of the X. The main difference between them is that the regular Ornata has some metal bars that mimic the actuation mechanism of mechanical keys, offering a nicer acoustic and tactile experience during use, but functionally they are 100% the same.

If you know you are buying something VERY BUDGET and membrane, go for it. It's not bad.
If you want "something more" for this money, you are looking in the wrong place. Save up a bit more.

I would say this keyboard is very expensive for 40 euros, it has some faults like when you press a key and it keeps going by itself and the only way to fix it is to restart the PC or disconnect and reconnect the keyboard, the RGB lights show only one color and not many at once, and it has a lot of ghosting

Very good keyboard, I bought it back when it cost 70-80€ and so far it’s been just fine, I have no issues and the chroma is great, it doesn’t lag and it’s very easy to adjust… at this price now, there’s honestly no competitor

Very good keyboard, I really like the feel of the keys which are not noisy at all, whether you want it for gaming or because you type all day.. the wrist rest is somewhat annoying because it doesn't attach to the keyboard, it's a separate piece but ok..

I bought this particular keyboard in London in 2018 and since then I have been using it for gaming (daily use, several hours a day 5+). In general, I have put it through a lot of 'beating' playing competitive games. It's time to change it because honestly it just won't break no matter what and I'm just a bit bored of it, so I stumbled upon it and decided to write a review. Maybe the most value for money item I've ever bought in my life (this and the iPhone 6s). Back then I got it for 99 pounds, in Greece it was around 110 euros if I remember correctly, now its price is ridiculous for what it offers.

Very comfortable, beautiful, silent, as soon as I connected it to a Mac Mini, having the Razer DeathAdder connected as well, they immediately synchronized their colors

the keyboard is fine, but in the description it says Greek and I received the English one. they send whatever they want!

For a year now, it has been my main keyboard for gaming, editing, image processing, and of course for typing. Very comfortable, quiet enough, and the keys are very responsive. It could be a bit sturdier, but it costs 40-45€. Water is not its enemy, the keys are obviously removable for cleaning, and the cable guide and the clips for height adjustment are useful. I have no complaints, amazing value for money, even with the completely useless wrist rest.

the worst thing I have ever bought! Not because of the keyboard itself but because of Synapse, the application—I should have listened to the guy who mentioned Ghosting, it only brings you problems

The ghosting that this keyboard has is extreme. I should have looked into it a bit more because other people have mentioned it too. Especially for MMO games where you have 30 different skills to press, many times half of them don't register if you try to press them quickly one after the other. It's a shame the money for a supposed gaming brand when others for 15 euros do a better job.

It is beautiful and the keys are very comfortable, but if you smoke, it is big and you will have to disassemble it to clean it from smoke and ashes. Also, the armrest is just a simple plastic piece; don't expect it to have magnets or padding. However, for the price, it is amazing and I recommend it

terrible product full of bugs every so often it starts going crazy and behaves as if you are continuously pressing a key which can only be fixed by disconnecting or restarting the pc. the drivers and the terrible programs from razer are laughable and only create problems and generally one of the worst keyboards I have ever bought. better to get some 5 euro Chinese ones

It's been a month in my possession, so I can't say much. It looks good, feels fine, the only negative I would say is that the resting piece for the wrist is not magnetic like other brands and comes off occasionally. I hope the letters don't fade in three months

The build quality is the worst. You can barely bend it with your hands. The buttons are also the worst, very poor feel, like keyboards from the 2000s. I do not recommend it to anyone, for any task.

I bought the keyboard because of its low profile and the brand, but I was very disappointed. The worst typing feel I have seen in a keyboard since 1989, when dozens of keyboards have passed through my hands. It's like the keys have foam underneath them, and the keys have a very large gap between them, making typing very difficult, resulting in me constantly pressing the wrong keys. Unfortunately, I regret my money; the keyboard is completely useless.

I use it for typing, not gaming.
Negatives are that it does not support dynamic lighting.
1-2 times out of the blue it has started typing by itself (xfiles).
Also, it does the same if I lock the PC at certain moments (as if a key has been pressed). I can't stop it, only with a reboot or unplugging/plugging the USB.
However, the feel of the keys is quite good. It is, however, a tad smaller in width, resulting in the keys being a little closer together (if you've been typing for 40 years, you notice even the slightest difference)....

I got this gaming keyboard because I wanted a good upgrade from the 60% gaming keyboard. I've had it for a few months now and I haven't encountered any issues at all. It's quiet, the length of the cable is exceptional, especially for someone whose PC/console is far from their keyboard. It is worth more than its price.

I bought it a few days ago to replace a keyboard worth 25 euros. I can say that the feel of it is wonderful, almost similar to the feel of keyboards from internet cafes, even though it is membrane. Very nice feel, the keys produce a pleasant sound to the ear. The color on the keyboard is only one at a time, I haven't looked into it further but it has some modes for color selection in the settings. As for cleaning, I don't know yet how easy it is because I've had it for a few days and there isn't any dirt on it except for some dust since it's been out of the box. Very good for 40 euros.

I have got a very good keyboard for its price with the classic RGB lighting of Razer and quite comfortable although the armrest underneath is a bit hard. It is worth the price!

Quality razer keyboard. For its price, there is no competition... The only negative thing I noticed is that in some games like Fortnite, the RGB flashes without reason. I have not encountered a similar issue. Otherwise, it's okay...

It is a very good keyboard and relatively quiet. Pay attention to the wrist rest that comes with it, it is not magnetic to the keyboard, so you have to bring it back to its position with every movement. For this money, I paid for the name. Its sturdiness is virtual, the body of the keyboard is just heavy. The keys don't have the best feel either. Other than that, for 40€, I got a typical keyboard.

For value for money, this keyboard that combines everything is the best in its category. That is, a membrane keyboard that is quiet, allows you to program the buttons on your PC with full autonomy, and also has customizable RGB lighting.

It is beautifully discreet, with not too many frills on it, and the extra grip to rest your hands may be useful for some to relax, personally I don't find it a good touch but I don't use it.

Coming from a mechanical keyboard, the keys of the Ornata feel somewhat artificial to me, however, its build quality combined with its affordable price make it, in my opinion, a good purchase.

Everything is fine, I just don't understand why Synapse needs to run in the background in order to have a stable color. Without Synapse, it does a slow rainbow and so far I haven't found a way to make it static. Only brightness changes without Synapse. The keys respond instantly and have a light touch, which can lead to spelling mistakes if you press the adjacent key slightly.

Quite a good keyboard - it is not the same as a mechanical one, of course, but the response is good and the noise is minimal (compared to a mechanical one).
The colors are quite nice.
A good purchase for a 40€ keyboard.
I don't have an opinion on durability at the moment

Very good and comfortable keyboard, with nice lighting. So far, no problems after 1 year. The only flaw (hence the 4 stars) is that you can't press 3+ keys simultaneously, like for example the combination W+Shift+Q (this only applies to certain combinations, it doesn't apply, for example, to Alt+Ctrl+Del). If you search on the internet, some say that this is how the keyboard was designed, while others say that it is defective and the problem was solved by replacing it. This means that in several games you may encounter serious issues regarding gameplay.
