The HOYA Fog No 0.5 features a frosted surface that lightly covers the entire image, providing a delightful dreamy fog effect. Objects remain sharp and contrasty, despite the fog effect. The intensity of the effect varies according to the lens aperture, while if you stop down significantly, the effect diminishes. There are two HOYA Fog filters, the Fog No 0.5 and the stronger Fog No 1, which can be used together to create a denser fog.
