The new format of Data Analysis with SPSS has been adapted to version 28 of IBM SPSS Statistics and covers in depth the main management and analytical processes of the software. Data Analytics or Analytics is now the international term used for data analysis techniques. SPSS is one of the essential software in this new field, having a wide penetration in both educational institutions and corporate use.

In the new edition, the presentation of SPSS is emphasized on multivariate analyses. The layout of the material allows it to be used as an introductory book on the software as well as a detailed guide for data analysis for users with specialized needs. The first chapters refer to data management processes, while the following chapters present the main techniques of simple and multivariate statistical analysis.

Among the new topics developed, we mention the calculation of the effect size in tests of means and in analysis of variance, the use of Bootstrap estimators alongside parametric estimates, quantile regression, polynomial logistic regression, and the ordinal logistic model.
