Over time, it does become more non-stick, but it cannot be compared to a non-stick pan. However, that doesn't interest me because I didn't buy it to be non-stick, but to avoid the unhealthy non-stick materials that other pans have and of course, to not have to change it every 2-3 years. With proper use, you will keep it for a lifetime. It is also worth mentioning that it is heavier compared to regular pans
