    They were purchased simply because I always liked them as a design. Being a saleswoman standing for 10 hours, I will advise you not to buy them for work shoes or anything like that. They have one of the worst, hardest soles I have ever worn. In fact, they reminded me of a cheap, Chinese version of a shoe. They are not for standing or anything like that, they are a beautiful walking shoe. Personally, I will put an insole in them to make them softer and even more comfortable for walking. Otherwise, they are fine, they didn't hurt my feet at all and they fit comfortably.
