Ended up using this just a table cover. Reason being the sensation on fingers when sliding with mouse just feels icky. Too much friction for the hand. For the mouse it glides without issues. The pad itself requires to be straightened when out of the box.

I love this mouse pad, it is beautiful and durable. The colors are soft and you can use it on both sides depending on what color you want to put or change in the future if you get bored of it.
The sides do not have exactly the same material, one side slides a bit more than the other, there is no way to stabilize the pad on the table so you may need to put a sticker or two, but the mouse works perfectly and I haven't had any problems so far.
If it breaks, I would probably buy the same one again because I prefer "leather" over fabric ones that get filled with sweat and liquids and are hard to wash.

As strange as it may seem, it fades. It left red marks on a solid wooden desk. I made a handmade workstation out of solid oak and the marks don't go away no matter what. Obviously, whoever made or sells it won't bother. The only thing left is to swallow it and always use a mousepad of the same size so I don't see the disgust. Disgraceful, but what can you expect?
