I was between these and the Sony wf-1000xm5. I chose the Sony due to reviews for better ANC. I quickly realized that the ANC depends entirely on the memory foam tip they have, which after prolonged use (1+ hour for me) causes pain in the ears + they don't stay in place very well because they are a small type.
I sold them at a lower price, essentially new, and got these.
I've had them for less than an hour so far but I'm amazed. Incredible ANC due to the second plastic around the earbud body that creates even greater isolation from external sounds + offers better stability. The case is much sturdier, even the fit seems better to me but that's a personal preference.
Also, because of the amazing ANC, sounds and bass from movies seem very surround to me.

And since we're talking about headphones that are much more expensive than other options - at such prices you expect the corresponding quality - and without wanting to bash the Sony because they do suit some people, the truth for me is that as soon as I got the Sony in my hands I had doubts about my purchase. With these here I am sure from the first minute that the purchase was worth it.

EDIT:
The only problem I've encountered is that since they don't have multi point pairing, I have to constantly switch them between laptop and phone. This isn't a problem by itself, but because of this sometimes they get stuck and won't connect to the phone at all. The only way to fix this immediately is to unpair, reset, and pair again.
They're so good overall though that they deserve a 5/5

The reason I bought them was exclusively for the noise cancellation (specifically, I wanted to block out conversations at very high volumes), so I will comment on that. Very good, it effectively blocks out loud conversations by about 90-95% (within a radius of less than 1.5m, I would say it isolates them only about 50-60%, but it definitely does a much better job than the 50-euro headphones that are practically useless in this regard, which is why I decided to spend much more on the Bose. However, of course, I had higher expectations with such marketing regarding noise cancellation - which even has the word quiet in the title - so minus one star). As for music/video, the sound is crystal clear. Another star off because the app is unacceptable. No one guarantees me that I will manage to connect on the first try or that my settings won't get messed up out of the blue. Imagine wanting absolute silence and suddenly it switches by itself from quiet to aware mode, and you hear the conversations of the surrounding area in stereo. For these failures, I can't understand the 179 euros.

I've had them for 2-3 months. Indeed, wherever I look, mainly on Reddit, most people say that for the best NC you go to Bose. Of course, each NC also depends on the frequencies you want to cut!

Sound quality is quite good and very good stereo, I have dealt with sound and I can distinguish the quality mainly because my main speakers are studio monitors.

The only thing that bothers me, which exists in all Bose NC headphones from what I've researched, is a static sound that is heard along with the white noise produced for isolation. Of course, you only hear this if nothing is playing in the headphones; otherwise, no.

Also, something I didn't know before getting them is that the NC doesn't turn off in some way, at least not yet; maybe it will change with an update. Another observation is that I can't find where I can see the battery remaining in the case. The lid of the case also feels a bit cheap. They sit comfortably in the ear.

I'm writing all this because they are expensive headphones, and I took a long time to decide whether to buy them or not. I would say it's better for someone to go directly for the Ultras. I'm deducting one star because of the static sound I mentioned, something that probably won't bother most people, to be honest. Overall, we're talking about top headphones; there's no doubt about that!

If you are looking for headphones with excellent noise cancellation (ANC), comfort, and good sound, then you have found the right ones.
Positives:
- The noise cancellation is the best you can find on the market right now! It isolates you from the rest of the world, especially in the office with keyboard sounds and conversations.
- The sound is very good with good separation between mid and low frequencies, and it is quite powerful. It has slightly stronger bass than you would expect from BOSE (if you are familiar with their products).
- They are very comfortable and fit very well without worrying about them falling out of your ears.
- The battery life is close to the advertised (6 hours).
- The shape makes it easy to control the volume and ANC.
- You can adjust the ANC level by creating your own profile.
- In addition to the ANC profile, it also has Aware, which allows you to stay connected to the outside world, and there is even an option (Active Sense) that adjusts the ANC level in case of loud noise, so you can better hear your music.
- In terms of hygiene, their shape helps a lot in placing them on the desk without the inner part coming into contact, and they are also easy to clean.
- They are easy to remove from the case, and their shape helps keep the case clean.
Negatives:
- Lack of wireless charging.
- The Bose Music app is very bad!! On both Android and iOS platforms!!
Even after updates in these 2 years, it is still difficult to connect the Bose Music app to the headphones!
The connection between my devices and the headphones is very fast and stable, BUT the Bose Music app does not recognize it! It shows that they are not connected.
You have to put them in the case, wait a bit, remove them again, and if you are lucky, the app will detect them.
IT IS UNACCEPTABLE!
- Although you have the option to control the ANC level, you cannot turn it off! WHY?!
- Through the app, there is no indication of the battery level of the case. Only with the LED on the front of the case.
- The quality of the case could be better. It is not bad, but at this price level, I expected better quality.
- The size of the case could be smaller

Edit 16/01: Since I couldn't return them in the end because they belong to the products that cannot be returned once the packaging is opened, they are still in my possession and I decided to reevaluate them after months of daily use.

I don't think I wrote anything excessive in the previous review, everything still holds true, I will just correct 2 things:
1) The ANC is better than I expected. Maybe I had high expectations due to some exaggerated reviews about its ANC. It just needs music playing at the same time to truly show what ANC can do, while by default, compared to other headphones, it doesn't block as much sound, which probably deceived me.
2) The app has become more user-friendly for some reason. It also surprised me that you won't need it after pairing unless you want to adjust a mode or equalizer.

The static issue I mentioned in the right earbud still exists and it's quite annoying. It can only be heard when there's no music playing, and even then, it depends on the type of music. So sometimes, when I want to relax with soft music while sleeping, I still use my old earbuds. Which is a shame for headphones that cost 300€.

As the owner of the OG Galaxy Buds+ for 4.5 years, completely satisfied, it was time for an upgrade. Since earbuds are a product I use as much as my shoes, I decided to go for high-end ones.
I was torn between these and the Sony 1000XM5 for a long time, but I ended up choosing these because their ANC and convenience had not received a single negative review in all the reviews I saw.

Overall, disappointed, I returned the headphones. I will mainly focus on the positives that someone would prefer over other sets of headphones:
1) ANC: I had read so many reviews saying it was too good to be true. People with attention deficit preferred them because when they turned on the ANC, they couldn't hear anything. Unfortunately, I can't say I saw the same thing (more like heard). Although when you turned on the ANC, many background and distant sounds disappeared, the more immediate and close ones were still there as if they weren't affected. So speeches, road noise (we didn't expect it to filter out car horns), you could hear them but muffled, simply because the headphones blocked your ear canal (just like the Buds).
2) Comfort: Many combinations that I believe fit even the most difficult ears in one way or another. Generally, I didn't have a problem, I don't have a "bad ear," but it seems there are enough combinations. Of course, I wouldn't say "you wear them and don't even notice" because they are relatively lightweight headphones, they are a bit "bulky," and their support doesn't provide good pressure relief. The headphones may not be heavy, but all their weight is supported in one spot, not unbearable but not perfectly comfortable either. The positive aspect of this is that they have a very good grip and don't fall off easily.
3) Sound quality: Here I will agree (yes, paradoxically) with the general opinion, not something incredible but definitely good quality. Bose has done a good job with updates, supporting everything from power-saving codes (Qualcomm TWS+, Adaptive Audio) to LDAC for good quality sound transmission. I liked the strong default bass, and if someone can't handle it, they can simply lower it from the (slightly lacking) equalizer.
4) Connectivity: Bose should be ashamed here. Although this aspect didn't worry me at all because I don't use apps but still want access, I consider it a negative selling point. The app hardly ever recognizes the headphones. Without exaggeration. You have to remember to completely close the application if you want to reopen it later for use and it still works. Although I didn't try it, I imagine that the Multiport is a nightmare.
5) The main reason for my return: There was a VERY intense white noise whenever the ANC was on in the right earbud. So when you changed songs or listened to relaxed music without much Decibel/Tempo (meaning "dampa dumpa" in Greek), it was quite noticeable.

These few things. I wanted to make a detailed and mainly objective review (That's why the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 even though I returned them) as there will be others like me who are afraid to spend so much money on headphones and want to be sure. Obviously, I'm not the only user and there are other reviews out there. I recognize the positives, but when the main selling points (ANC, Comfort) have nothing to do with what I had in mind, I was disappointed. In general, I have a very difficult ear for reviews, I can hear the slightest sounds and frequencies, and the comment about the white noise may never apply to some of you, if your ear doesn't catch it or the music you listen to doesn't make you hear it. It has always been a general issue and most people experience it and hope for a Firmware Update. See you at Sony soon (probably)

Purchase from abroad at 300 Euros.
The reason I bought them is because:
1. They have stability bands, so they don't fall out of my ears (I have an issue with conventional earbuds that don't stay in my ears and fall out) and
2. The ANC is out of this world.

Positives:

-Active Noise Cancellation is EXCELLENT. When activated, it provides you with absolute silence.
-Comes with 3 eartips and 3 stability bands, so you have 9 different combinations for the perfect fit in your ear. Keep in mind that since our ears are not completely identical, you will need to try all possible combinations to achieve the perfect fit.
-Very lightweight and almost unnoticeable in the ear.
-Very good connectivity with Bluetooth 5.3.
-Very good tilt quality and excellent microphone quality. Each earbud has 4 microphones with noise reduction.
-Bose application (Bose Music) with many customizations (Active Sense with presets, EQ).
-Operated with gestures on the earbud (answer/end calls, activate ANC, adjust volume, play/stop, next/previous track).
-Battery lasts almost 6 hours and can be charged 3 more times from the case (total of 24 hours).
-Charging time in the case is 1 hour or 20 minutes for 2 hours of use.
-Long press on the earbud achieves Aware mode with Active Sense (hear ambient sounds) or ANC mode.
-Smaller than the previous model and very aesthetically pleasing with an elegant feel.

Negatives:

-Gesture control on the earbud is a bit hit and miss and sometimes freezes.
-Battery life is noticeably reduced with ANC activated.
-Only supports basic codecs (SBC and AAC). Does not support aptX and aptX Low Latency.
-The case is relatively large and made of glossy plastic that slips in the hands. It has fallen twice without any damage.
-No multipoint connection. You simply store the devices in the app and select them from there.
-You cannot use only one earbud in the ear.
-Expensive headphones that target a specific market.

Conclusion:

There are many alternatives on the market at much lower prices, but for those interested in headphones that stay in the ear, don't cause fatigue, have excellent sound quality, ANC for perfect isolation, and a premium feel, then they are worth it if their price drops to 200-250 Euros.
Personally, I have changed 4-5 earbuds with prices ranging from 20 to 150 Euros, but because they didn't fit in my ear, I kept changing them, resulting in spending over 400 Euros in total. I bought the Bose ones and finally found peace.

UPDATE 13/11/2022: You can use only one earbud in the ear, but only if it is the Right earbud.
UPDATE 20/02/2023: After a software update, we can now use each earbud individually while the other one is in the case charging. The next software update in spring will include support for aptX and aptX Low Latency codecs from Qualcomm. If they also add support for multipoint connection, they will be a top choice!!!....

- Sound quality
Very good. As a point of comparison, I only have the airpods and some cheap Huawei ones.

- Volume
When I put them on, I thought I wanted the volume to go louder since I'm used to listening to music at maximum volume and getting deafened. However, with the noise cancellation, it covers the maximum volume because you can't hear anything outside to cut off the sound.

- Application
I never managed to find headphones that fit well in my ears and don't come out or make me feel like they're coming out. I feel these ones are very stable on me. I tried them during strength training only and not running, but it seems like I won't have any issues as they fit incredibly well in the ear.

- Active Noise Cancellation
Amazing. Honestly, you isolate yourself completely. Without music, someone next to you can speak loudly and you hear them very faintly and from deep inside. With music, especially, you don't hear anything outside.

- Price
I bought them for 300 euros. I still don't know if they're worth that much money, but I have no complaints. I mainly cared about the application being correct, resistance to sweat and water since I'm a runner, and the Active Noise Cancellation, and I think they were the top choice in these features. However, I don't know if they were the most value for money option
