Saint Stylianos is an Anatolian saint who lived between the 4th and 6th century. He was born in Adrianople of Paphlagonia in Asia Minor. As soon as he became an adult, he distributed his paternal inheritance to the poor and lived in a secluded place with fasting and persistent exercise in a cave. Over the years, he gained fame primarily for his miraculous prayer which helped many women when they could not conceive. Thus, the saint was established as a protector of infants and healer of children's diseases.

The Orthodox Church commemorates him on November 26.
