With this particular product, there is an issue with recognizing the microSD card in its port, only on laptops with USB-C ports and Windows. It can work, but it requires several attempts of inserting and removing. The laptop is not the problem, as I have tested it in stores with display laptops, and I have also tested it on my own laptop while connected to the USB-C port with a USB-A micro SD card reader adapter, and it works perfectly fine. On the contrary, if it is connected to a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and be careful: it must be connected in reverse, meaning the side that was normally facing up should be facing down, otherwise, none of the dock's ports will work, not just the micro SD port. And always with a USB 3.0 compatible adapter. Also, after many attempts, the docking station tends to "heat up" and functions properly as it should, reading the microSD card every time it is connected to the computer's USB-C port. Unfortunately, it should not require multiple attempts, but should work directly.
The conclusion is that if someone wants all the features that the docking station offers, it is better to make the purchase through Skroutz in order to have the option to get a refund and not have to deal with sending it back to the manufacturer (abroad and up to a month-long process), dealing with warranties, and the possibility of not having the defective item found. Another very important thing is that there are no drivers for this specific product, and if someone from the store where you purchased it tells you that the drivers need to be deleted and reinstalled for it to work properly, then they simply do not know what they are talking about. I tried that as well, but in consultation with someone who knows about these things, they told me that "there are no drivers" and that "it is a USB class device, so it is part of the USB specification. There must be some issue with this specific dock."
It cannot be that everything works on the 8-in-1 version of the same docking station, including the port that reads micro SD, and as soon as I get this one, it does not work. Something is wrong.

Με το συγκεκριμένο υπάρχει πρόβλημα αναγνώρισης κάρτας microSD στην θύρα του, μόνο σε laptop με θύρα USB-C και Windows. Μπορεί να λειτουργήσει αλλά λειτουργεί μετά από αρκετές προσπάθειες βάλε-βγάλε. Δεν έχει πρόβλημα το laptop καθώς όχι μόνο το δοκίμασα σε καταστήματα με εκθεσιακά laptop, αλλά και δοκίμασα στο ίδιο μου το laptop ενώ ήταν συνδεδεμένο στη θύρα USB-C να βάλω micro SD card reader αντάπτορα με USB-A και λειτουργεί μία χαρά η ανάγνωσή του. Αντίθετα άμα συνδεθεί σε αντάπτορα USB-C σε USB-A και προσοχή: πρέπει να ακολουθεί ανάποδα, δηλαδή η μεριά που ήταν κανονικά προς τα πάνω πρέπει να είναι προς τα κάτω, αλλιώς δεν διαβάζει καμία θύρα του dock, όχι μόνο micro SD. Και πάντα με αντάπτορα με USB 3.0 συμβατό. Επίσης μετά από πολλές προσπάθειες λογικά «ζεσταίνεται» το docking station και λειτουργεί κανονικά όπως θα έπρεπε και διαβάζει κάθε φορά την κάρτα microSD όντας συνδεδεμένο στην θύρα USB-C του υπολογιστή. Δυστυχώς όμως δεν πρέπει να λειτουργεί μετά από πολλές προσπάθειες, αλλά απευθείας.
Το συμπέρασμα είναι πως άμα κάνεις θέλει όλα αυτά που προσφέρει το docking station, καλύτερα να κάνει αγορά μέσω skroutz για να έχει τη δυνατότητα να πάρει τα χρήματα του πίσω και να μην τρέχει με αποστολές στην αντιπροσωπεία (εξωτερικό και έως 1 μήνα διαδικασία), να μπλέκει με εγγυήσεις και την πιθανότητα να μην του το βρουν ελαττωματικό τι άλλο να πληρώσει και τα μεταφορικά.
Επίσης κάτι πολύ σημαντικό είναι ότι δεν υπάρχουν drivers για το συγκεκριμένο και άμα πει κάποιος από το κατάστημα που το αγοράσατε ότι θέλουν διαγραφή και επανεγκατάσταση οι drivers για να λειτουργήσει σωστά, τότε απλά δεν ξέρει τι του γίνεται. Είπα να δοκιμάσω και αυτό αλλά σε συνεννόηση με άτομο που ξέρει μου είπε ότι «δεν υπάρχουν drivers» και ότι «ειναι usb class device, αρα ειναι κομματι του usb specification. Θα ειναι καποιο θεμα με το συγκεκριμενο dock».
Δεν μπορεί να έρχομαι από την έκδοση 8 σε 1 του ίδιου docking station να λειτουργούν όλα μέχρι και η θύρα που διαβάζει micro sd και μόλις παίρνω αυτό να μη λειτουργεί. Κάτι τρέχει.
