Spring preload or adjustable spring screw. With the threaded cylindrical shock absorbers, the user can adjust the preload to properly tune the spring and tighten a provided bolt to secure the ring in place.

The Rebound Adjustable is for controlling the shock absorber's rebound. Fast or slow depending on the rider's needs.
