Description

In an era where Turkey's dangerous revisionism threatens regional peace with illegal expansionist claims in the Aegean, Eastern Mediterranean, and Cyprus, the rules of International Law clarify what is in accordance with international legality and what is unlawful.

In this context, the book presents the legitimate claims of the coastal states of the Eastern Mediterranean, focusing on the maritime zones of Greece, the Republic of Cyprus, and Turkey, as well as the other coastal states in the region, along with the corresponding positions and practices of the international community.

Furthermore, it indicates necessary proactive actions that Greece and Cyprus must take in order to lawfully counter Turkey's illegal claims.

Among the conclusions, a radical proposal by the author is presented for a comprehensive resolution of all Greek-Turkish disputes, including the Cyprus issue, in a manner that aligns with the rules of International Law and simultaneously addresses the legitimate concerns of all parties involved in the aforementioned disputes.
