In Lemon Cake for PS4, the player takes on the task of repairing an abandoned bakery with the help of a friendly ghost. They grow ingredients in the greenhouse, prepare sweets in the kitchen and serve customers in the shop, while also organizing the daily menu and their schedule.

In the greenhouse, they can grow trees and plants, collect honey from the beehive, and look after a cow and chickens for fresh milk and eggs. In the kitchen, they combine ingredients to make sweets, candies and frozen desserts, with the ability to prepare up to three treats at once. The recipe book includes more than 40 sweets, while up to six recipes can be selected for the daily menu. Customers are served coffee and sweets, and the bakery can also be turned into a cat café.
