As others have written, the lid has difficulty closing completely. The position of the ring/handle at the back plays a role. If you lift it straight back, at a right angle to the bin, then it presses the mechanism and the lid closes properly. It's a bit of a hack, but it works. However, the worst thing for me is the quality of the lid. It says it is durable bamboo. But even if it gets a little wet, it warps very quickly.

It is as you see it in the photo. Like previous ones, the downside is that sometimes the lid does not close completely and stays slightly open. If you move it a little to the right/left, it closes. Time will tell if the soft close will last.

In less than 10 months, the lid no longer functions as a soft close - and, because it has wood on top, the noise is unbearable. It will have to be replaced, necessarily.

Beautiful visually but as others have mentioned, it has an issue with the mechanism. It is very hard, so if you press it with force, it comes off its position and we had to put weights on the bottom. After less than a year, the color started to fade and it has rusted! Such a waste of money.

The design looks good, but the lid came off within the first month. We returned it, they brought us another one, and the one that came was already broken. I have the impression that the same thing happened again. Stay away from this company

Only the design is nice. From the beginning, there was no stability and when we pressed the button, it went backwards. Within a month, the lid broke. Fortunately, we were compensated for the product with a refund.
