Their focal distance is usually 24-35mm for full-frame, 15-25mm for crop frame, and 50-70mm for medium format. They are commonly used in street photography but also in indoor spaces where there is limited distance from the subject. The perspective of wide-angle lenses makes things appear farther apart than they actually are.

    The type of mount that the camera body must have in order for the lens to be fully functional when attached to it.

  • VXD (Voice-coil eXtreme-torque Drive) linear motor focus mechanism for fast, silent, and precise autofocus performance across the zoom range.
