Given that armed conflicts, in any form, whether international or not, constitute a gruesome aspect of human activity and action, many armed conflicts continue to occur in various regions of the planet.
At the same time, the ineffectiveness of the international community regarding the effective and substantial prevention and suppression of these illegal actions caused by the use of violence on a universal level becomes apparent.
The regimes of armed conflicts, fully reflected in the relationships between combatants and non-combatants as well as other individuals placed outside of conflicts, represent a unique and recurring gruesome reality that emerges from the roots of human history and the beginnings of early human social organizations to the present day, within the framework of the organization and functioning of a "solid" international community.
