I bought the Dark Souls trilogy for about 50€, which included Dark Souls Remastered, Dark Souls 2, and Dark Souls 3 along with all the DLC. The truth is, I bought the trilogy just to have it in my collection, what mattered to me was Dark Souls 3.
Where to start and where to finish...
Duration: Initially, the game has a duration of about 40 hours if your only goal is to finish the game and of course, if you are a skilled player. On the other hand, if you are the type of player who wants to explore everything or if you are simply a bad player like me, you can easily reach 60 hours. Now, if you want to do more than one walkthrough, then you understand...
Story: The story keeps you engaged from beginning to end without getting boring. The game starts with a two-minute opening scene, which is meant to give you an idea of the story. Personally, I didn't catch anything. The truth is, you won't encounter any other scenes and the only way to understand the story is through the bosses, which I will talk about below, through dialogues with NPCs, and through the descriptions of items, whether they are weapons (swords, shields, etc.), materials, or rings. Therefore, the story is good and will only keep you interested if you yourself show interest. Note: I haven't played the previous two games, so I may not have understood some things from the beginning.
Graphics, performance, and sound: I played the game on a PS4 Slim and I can say that I was satisfied. I didn't see anything that blew me away, but I can't say that the graphics weren't good. Beautiful landscapes, well-designed characters and enemies, and small details that made the experience enjoyable. However, in terms of sound, I'm not an expert, to be honest, so I'll just say that it was good. Finally, in terms of performance, the game runs smoothly at 30 fps with minor drops during some boss fights. However, I have to mention an issue I encountered with the camera. In a few boss fights, three to be exact, the camera couldn't lock onto the enemy. Despite that, I didn't have any other issues, no glitches or bugs.
Multiplayer: I didn't engage with the multiplayer at all, so I can't have an opinion. The only issue I encountered was that I would automatically invade other worlds during the game, for no reason, and that was because I was playing the game in online mode.
Gameplay: The game is demanding. I had never had contact with this type of game before, so I struggled quite a bit. After teaching you the basics through a tutorial, the game throws you into its beautiful and dangerous world. Let me make it clear from now on that the game doesn't forgive, so when you play, you have to be fully present. The difficulty level of the game is high, but that doesn't mean you can't play it, everyone can. So don't let reviews discourage you by saying that the game is not for everyone.
Environment and bosses: The game can stand out for its environment, the incredible variety and the details in the areas (from dense forests to catacombs), as well as the unique and enchanting bosses. Now, the bosses are a point I want to highlight. The bosses are carefully crafted. They are not just reskins like in other games, they are made from scratch and they are unique. Each boss has its own moves, and this means that you have to memorize new moves each time, the whole thing becomes more difficult when bosses change their moves during the battle, because the battle has waves and they are continuous. Finally, the music accompaniment of each battle with the bosses makes the experience even better, addictive, I could say.
DLC: The DLCs are sold separately from the game and the only way to acquire them is to buy them separately or get a version of the game that includes them. The DLCs of Dark Souls 3 are 2 in total and they are amazing, adding something extra to the game. Each DLC is an area in duration and includes 3 bosses each. Although 2 out of the 6 bosses are almost disappointing, the rest are "gems", especially the final boss in the second DLC, which takes place in the Ring City, is the best in the whole game overall.
In summary: The game is a must-play, although it can be difficult for many players. The excellent content and variety will definitely keep you glued to your screen for a long time. From Software has shown once again what it can do! Invest your time!
Αγόρασα την τριλογία του dark souls περίπου στα 50€ η οποία περιείχε το Dark souls remastered, το dark souls 2 και το dark souls 3 μαζί με όλα τα dlc. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι πήρα την τριλογία απλά για να την έχω στην συλλογή, αυτό που με ένοιαζε ήταν το dark souls 3.
Από που να αρχίσεις και που να τελειώσεις...
Διάρκεια στον χρόνο : Αρχικά το παιχνίδι έχει διάρκεια περίπου 40 ώρες, αν ο μόνος σου στόχος είναι να τελειώσεις το παιχνίδι και φυσικά είσαι καλός παίκτης. Από την άλλη, αν είσαι ο τύπος παίχτη που θέλει να σκουπίσει τα πάντα ή απλά είσαι κακοπαίχτης σαν εμένα, μπορείς άνετα να φτάσεις τις 60 ώρες. Τώρα αν θελήσεις να κάνεις παραπάνω από ένα walkthrough, τότε καταλαβαίνεις...
Ιστορία : Η ιστορία σε κρατάει από την αρχή μέχρι το τέλος χωρίς να γίνεται βαρετή. Το παιχνίδι ξεκινάει με ένα opening scene των δύο λεπτών, του οποίου ο σκοπός είναι να πάρεις κάποια ιδέα για την ιστορία. Προσωπικά δεν έπιασα τίποτα. Η αλήθεια είναι ότι δεν πρόκειται να συναντήσεις αλλά scenes και ο μονος τρόπος να καταλάβεις την ιστορία είναι μέσα από τα bosses, για τα οποία θα μιλήσω παρακάτω, από διαλόγους με npc και από τις περιγραφές των items είτε αυτά είναι όπλα(σπαθιά, ασπίδες κτλ), είτε είναι materials ή rings. Συνεπώς η ιστορία είναι καλή και θα σε κρατήσει μόνο αν εσύ ο ίδιος ενδιαφερθείς. Σημείωση : Δεν έχω παίξει τα δύο προηγούμενα παιχνίδια και για αυτό ίσως να μην κατάλαβα κάποια πράγματα από την αρχή
Γραφικά, performance και ήχος : Έπαιξα το παιχνίδι σε ps4 slim και μπορώ να πω ότι έμεινα ικανοποιημένος. Δεν είδα κάτι που να μου έριξε τα σαγόνια αλλά δεν μπορώ να πω ότι τα γραφικά δεν ήταν καλά. Όμορφα τοπία,προσεγμενοι χαρακτήρες και αντίπαλοι και μικρές λεπτομέρειες που έκαναν την εμπειρία όμορφη. Μέχρι εκεί όμως....Στο θέμα του ήχου δεν είμαι ιδικός, για να είμαι ειλικρινής, οπότε θα πω ότι ήταν καλός. Τέλος στο θέμα του performance, το παιχνίδι παίζει ομαλά στα 30 fps με μικρά drops σε κάποια bosses. Πρέπει να αναφερθεί όμως και ένα θέμα που αντιμετώπισα με την κάμερα. Σε μερικά bosses, 3 σε αριθμό, η κάμερα δεν μπορούσε να κάνει lock πάνω στον αντίπαλο. Παρόλα αυτά δεν είχα κάποιο άλλο θέμα, ούτε glitches ούτε bugs
Multiplayer : Δεν ασχολήθηκα καθόλου με το multiplayer οπότε δεν μπορώ να έχω άποψη. Το μόνο θέμα που αντιμετώπισα ήταν πως γινόμουν αυτόματα invade σε άλλα worlds, κατά την διάρκεια του παιχνιδιού, χωρίς κανένα λόγο, και αυτό επειδή έπαιζα το παιχνίδι σε online mode
Gameplay : Το παιχνίδι είναι απαιτητικό. Δεν είχα ξανά επαφή με τέτοιου είδους παιχνίδι και έτσι δυσκολεύτηκα αρκετά. Το παιχνίδι αφού πρώτα σου μάθει τα βασικά μέσα από ένα tutorial σε πετάει στον όμορφο και επικίνδυνο κόσμο του. Να ξεκαθαρίσω από τώρα πως το παιχνίδι δεν συγχωρεί οπότε όταν παίζεις πρέπει να είσαι εκεί και μόνο εκεί. Ο βαθμός δυσκολίας του παιχνιδιού είναι υψηλός αλλά αυτό δεν σημαίνει πως δεν μπορείς να το παίξεις,όλοι μπορούν. Οπότε μην σε αποθαρρύνουν κάποια reviews που λένε πως το παιχνίδι δεν είναι για όλους
Environment και bosses : Το παιχνίδι μπορεί να ξεχωρίσει για το περιβάλλον του, η τρομερή ποικιλία και οι λεπτομέρειες στους χώρους ( από πυκνά δάση μέχρι κατακομβες) αλλά και στους αντιπάλους το κάνουν ξεχωριστό και μαγευτικό ταυτόχρονα. Τα bosses τώρα είναι ένα σημείο που θέλω να σταθώ. Τα bosses είναι προσεκτικά φτιαγμένα. Τα bosses δεν απλά reskins όπως σε άλλα παιχνίδια, είναι φτιαγμένα από το μηδέν και είναι ξεχωριστά. Το κάθε boss έχει τις δικές του κινήσεις και αυτό σημαίνει πως πρέπει κάθε φορά να απομνημονευεις καινούριες κινήσεις, το όλο θέμα γίνεται πιο δύσκολο όταν τα bosses αλλάζουν τις κινήσεις τους κατά την διάρκεια της μάχης και αυτό γιατί η μάχη έχει waves και είναι ενιαίες. Τέλος, η μουσική επένδυση της κάθε μάχης με τα bosses κάνουν την εμπειρία ακόμα καλύτερα, εθιστική, θα μπορούσα να πω.
Dlc: Τα dlc πωλούνται ξεχωριστά από το παιχνίδι και ο μόνος τρόπος να τα αποκτήσετε είναι να τα αγοράσετε ξεχωριστά ή να πάρετε κάποια έκδοση του παιχνιδιού που να τα περιέχει. Τα dlc του dark souls 3 είναι 2 στο σύνολο τους και είναι τρομερά, προσθέτοντας κάτι παραπάνω στο παιχνίδι. Το κάθε dlc είναι μια περιοχή σε διάρκεια και περιλαμβάνει 3 bosses κάθε dlc. Αν και τα 2 από τα 6 bosses είναι σχεδόν απογοητευτικά, τα υπόλοιπα είναι '' διαμάντια '', ειδικά το final boss στο δεύτερο dlc, το οποίο διαδραματιζεται στην ring city, είναι το καλύτερο σε όλο το παιχνίδι γενικότερα.
Συνοπτικά : Το παιχνίδι είναι must - play αν και μπορεί να είναι δύσκολο για πολλούς παίχτες. Το άρτιο περιεχόμενο αλλά και η ποικιλία του θα σας κρατήσει σίγουρα για πολύ καιρό κολλημένο στην οθόνη σας. Η from software έδειξε για άλλη μια φορά τι μπορεί να κάνει! Επενδύστε το χρόνο σας!!!
