    Amazing amplifier with exceptional sound quality. I had a budget hifi amplifier, the Sony STR-DH190, with Klipsch R-820 floorstanding speakers. Despite this amplifier being for home cinema, the music quality is much better and sounds perfect without any complaints. The 50w of Marantz is sufficient. For sensitive speakers like mine (97db), I can't even turn it up to 100% without my ears bleeding. I don't have an opinion on home cinema yet as I haven't completed the set with a subwoofer and surround speakers.

    Edit: Now that I have a 5.1.2 home cinema setup, my opinion remains the same. Especially after researching and testing with the graphic EQ and subwoofer settings, the sound is something else!
