In recent decades, due to sociopolitical changes at a global level and the consequent population movements, societies have acquired a multicultural character. As a result, the need for harmonious coexistence through the management of cultural and linguistic diversity is greater than ever, both at the level of social and educational structures.

The volume Educational Policies and Practices in Language Teaching: Contemporary Reflections and Innovative Approaches includes thirty-three (33) texts by academics and researchers from Greece and other countries, in which fields of convergence between research and educational applications are identified and issues related to educational language policies are depicted.
