Description

The Rel Acoustics HT/1510 Predator II is a high-performance sealed subwoofer designed to deliver explosive low frequencies in home theater systems. With an upgraded 15-inch CarbonGlas driver and a powerful 1000W RMS amplifier, it offers instantaneous response and deep bass reaching down to 20Hz. Its robust construction with internal BrilliantBrace™ bracing eliminates resonances while also allowing Line Array units to be stacked vertically. It also supports lossless wireless connectivity via the optional HT-Air and Airship II systems.

Powerful 15" CarbonGlas Driver

At the heart of the HT/1510 is the redesigned 15" CarbonGlas™ driver with a 3" (75mm) voice coil. The combination of lightweight glass fiber and a carbon-fiber center cap delivers exceptional rigidity and instant response, allowing the driver to maintain its structural integrity even under the most demanding transient conditions. The result is fast, dynamic bass with outstanding precision.

1000W amplifier with MOSFETs

The built-in linear power supply amplifier delivers 1000W RMS and features four 400W MOSFETs with massive current reserves. This design provides unlimited power and instant response whenever a movie’s sound effects demand it. In addition, the dedicated PerfectFilter™ circuit allows the subwoofer to reach frequencies as low as 20Hz (-6dB).

Sturdy Construction & Stackability

The robust cabinet features the BrilliantBrace™ internal bracing system, which secures the rear of the driver, damping internal vibrations and cabinet-wall resonances. In addition, thanks to the special REL Couplers™, the subwoofer can be stacked in vertical arrays (Line Arrays) of up to 3 units per channel to create an impressive column of low frequencies.

Wireless Connectivity Capability

The HT/1510 supports wireless signal transmission via the optional HT-Air™ system at 5.8 GHz, delivering exceptionally low latency of 16–20 ms without signal compression. It is also compatible with the Airship II transmitter, allowing you to use the High Level Input directly from the amplifier output for studio-quality sound without visible cables in the room.
