Today, the real challenge for the EU is to develop innovative processes for discussion, information gathering, and dissemination, aiming not only to increase citizens' interest in European integration but also to strengthen their will for sustainable solutions to today's fundamental political, social, and economic problems.

If this, in a European and global environment that has already changed and will change towards a more competitive, aggressive, and uncertain state, is not a serious reason to enhance the sustainability and resilience of the EU, then no other reason will be found.
